My vectored illustrations were designed and used for the Eclectic Art greeting card range. The cards were produced in house at Valley Print where my colleagues and myself letterpress printed them on the Heidelberg Platen press, using Pantone inks and foiling techniques.
The designs were inspired by art deco geometric shapes and the pantone colours and foils used were meticulously chosen for each art piece. The designs were first hand drawn and painted then later vectored as digital files ready for print. The beauty behind these cards it that each individual card is slightly unique as the print process is so organic - they were designed to be a small piece of letterpress art that can be sent for anyone to treasure.
